The Buckingham Recreational Facilities Association is responsible for the smooth operation of the community pool that serves Buckingham Woods, Buckingham Village I and Buckingham Village II Subdivisions located in Macomb, Michigan USA.



Board of Directors Note:

Unless our members come forward and volunteer to assist Member Dan Mastrogocomo next season, the DIVE IN MOVIE NIGHTS and the ANNUAL CARNIVAL will be canceled indefinitely.

February 2010 News:

The Board of Directors wish all of our members a Happy Valentines Day this February 14th 2010.

As a reminder, all assessments are due February 28th 2010 for the 2010 Season. If you are having financial trouble, contact the Board of Directors IMMEDIATELY. Don't wait till the last minute as there will be no exceptions to the late fee's etc. Please check the Members Only Area for the most up to date financials.





January 2010 News:

Happy New Year To All Of Our Members. Your Board of Directors hope that everyones New Year is a prosperous one.

The Board of Directors note that invoices for the 2010 season dues have been sent out and will be arriving shortly. All assessments are due no later than February 28th 2010. There will be no exceptions this year to anyone when it comes to late fees etc. There have been numerous members taking advantage of not paying their dues until it was too late and requested fees be waived. Expenditures by the Association have become excessive trying to get members to pay on time. These expenditures must be refunded to the Association. Don't wait till the last minutes to contact a Board of Director if your having difficulty. We hope that we can make 2010 the first year without going to extreme in getting members to pay, including District Court.

The Board of Directors note that we will be assessing dues to all Builders, Lot owners, Banks etc in Buckingham Village #2 for the 2010 Season per our Convenants, Conditions and Restrictions. THANK-YOU goes out to Member Pete Struhar from Buckingham Woods Subdivision. The Board of Directors could not have made this possible without your volunteer assistance and dedication in assisting us with making this Association even more financially stable.


December 2009 News:

Our end of season membership meeting was held November 30th 2009. We wish we could have seen more of our members at this meeting. Congratulations to all 5 Board of Directors for being re-elected to another 2 year term. Cudo's goes out to the 5 of you who have strived in bringing this Association back to being finacially stable. We do not know how you 5 have lasted so long!

At the end of season meeting, the members who were present, voted and approved expanding the decking and fence line on the south side of the pool. This expansion should be completed by opening 2010. The Board of Directors also presented a bid for a sign to be placed at the pool giving the pool/association its own identity (beautification). This issue has been tabled for next years meeting.
